Check In Inspections
The check in report compares the information on the inventory to the contents and condition of the property on the first day of the tenancy to ensure that there is no variation since the inventory has been completed, going through this with the Tenants. We also record meter readings.
It is imperative that the check in report is agreed and signed by the landlord (or their representative) and Tenant as it forms the basis of the agreement between them about the condition of the property at the start of the tenancy.
We would also show the Tenants where the utility cut off points are and how to operate the heating.
